HoneyCreeks is a member of the TICA Responsible Breeder Program. This is a voluntary program designed to ensure that TICA registered Catteries operate their programs in a manner that ensures all cats and kittens are treated in a professional and loving manner, giving them a clean, safe and healthy environment to live in.
HoneyCreeks is nestled on a quiet, family farm of approximately 210 acres in the beautiful Ozark foothills of Northwest Arkansas, one of the top 10 fastest growing areas in the United States. This is also the location of several of the original springs, which feed Grand Lake of the Cherokees. In addition to being the home of our magnificent American Bobtails, HoneyCreeks is the home of Jackson Jake and Duke Luke, our pair of rambling, playful, always into something Bassett Hounds, and a commercial herd of Black Simmental cattle.
American Bobtails are a loving, kind and incredibly intelligent
breed. They easily adapt to a busy or quiet environment and bond well
with their family. They get along well with most dogs and have a
welcome spot in their hearts for newcomers, whether they are two-legged
or four-legged. Long haul truck drivers have purchased them as cabin
companions, and psychotherapists have used them in their treatment
programs, a very veratile breed indeed.
